The Bald Eagle is the largest carving I have completed. It is full-sized.  I began with 81 lbs of Tupelo from the Cape Fear Tupelo Company, NC.  The final weight is 18 lbs.  It is in the private collection of Dr. Tom Rider, Hickory, NC. Click on the photo to view a larger size.
